Boarding

Clermont Equestrian strives to provide top quality professional care and a pleasant, healthy environment for horses and people alike. This is something we are very proud of, and we feel is unique to a large facility in the San Francisco Peninsula.

Horses are comfortably spread out across barns, paddocks and pastures with rings and trails overlooking both the Pacific and San Francisco, fostering a fantastic and relaxing experience.

Professional care and feed are vitally important to us, so each horse receives top-quality grass hay, consistently three times a day. Feeding anything but the best quality (especially pelleted hay) increases colic. That is why we never cut corners or costs in this area. Our horses are just too important to us. We also provide grain feeding, daily turn-out and blanketing - this way owners can rest assured that even while away on vacation or at showing, their horses are well cared for on a consistent manner, which are also key factors to a healthy equine digestive system and the overall horse.

At Clermont you choose from stalls, paddocks, pasture, group turnout or individual. You are also free to continue with your vet or farrier or use our excellent service providers, Dr. Jay Reynolds and Mike Hayward. Our training barn is headed directly by Craig Clermont who has trained several horses to the Grand Prix level in Canada, and looks forward to coaching riders and competing at that level again, now in beautiful California! For more details please click here. For competitive riders, Craig and his staff can help you reach your goals while learning the fundamentals to not just be good hunter, equitation or jumper riders, but to actually train your own horses. Also to consider for seious riders is that our indoor arena enables you to train 25% more days than facilities that are either rained out, too overcrowded, or have restricted hours that don't fit your schedule. We are also conveniently located between San Francisco and San Jose with easy access from the 280.
